This year, from 01 to 04 May, Portimão hosts the EMYA 2024 conference, European Museum of the Year Award, in which 50 museums, recently opened or substantially renovated from 24 countries, are candidates to this important distinction in European museology.

The registration for 2024 European Museum of the Year Award conference and ceremony is now open! The closing date is Sunday, 21 April 2024.

Registration includes the welcome reception, coffee-breaks, lunches, award ceremony, gala dinner and pre and post conference tours.
